For our clients, we create sustainable experiences in every respect—experiences that connect people and generate real meaning. We are passionately committed to enhancing our clients’ messages through innovative and high-quality event concepts that create lasting value— because we are enthusiastic about what gets under your skin.
Sustainability and quality are firmly embedded in all our work processes. Now, this commitment has been officially recognised by BSI Group Germany. Following a thorough audit and evaluation, BSI has confirmed that artecom has implemented a Sustainable Event Management System in accordance with ISO 20121:2013, which is consistently applied, continuously improved and optimised.
The scope of the certification includes both project management (concept development, planning, coordination, implementation, and post-event review with artecom acting as general contractor) and administration (management, finance and human resources).

We strive for ongoing improvement of our Sustainable Event Management System (SEMS) and our sustainability efforts. We regularly review the SEMS for suitability, adequacy and effectiveness. Throughout the certification period, internal audits of our processes are conducted to ensure the effectiveness and standard compliance of our system. The next external audit will take place in 2026 as a surveillance and transition audit—from ISO 20121:2013 to the updated ISO 20121:2024.
The ISO certification according to the internationally recognised standard for Sustainable Event Management is valid for two years, until March 2027.
In addition to our ISO 20121 certification, artecom has been certified as a “Leader” by Sustainable Berlin since October 2025. This program, developed specifically for Berlin’s tourism and events industry, stands for transparency, quality, and international recognition through the Global Sustainable Tourism Council.
With this certification, we reaffirm our commitment to the highest ecological, economic, and social standards, we also strengthen our role within a strong Berlin network that works together toward a sustainable future for the city’s event industry.
The next external audit will take place in 2026 as a surveillance audit. The certification under Sustainable Berlin’s sustainability program is valid for two years, until October 2027.
