Tolerant Brandenburg
No to violence and hostility towards foreigners
Project profile
People of all ages from all over Brandenburg gather in Potsdam’s Nikolai Church to send a signal in favour of non-violence and against hostility towards foreigners and right-wing extremism. Brandenburg is the first state to draw up its own action plan in this respect. Former Federal President Richard von Weizsäcker and the Prime Minister of the State of Brandenburg, Manfred Stolpe, attend the event.
Prominent figures read from writings, entrepreneurs and mayors, artists, pupils and students, teachers and workers use their statements to adopt a clear position. The event will be recorded and broadcast by ORB television.
