This is something that has probably never been seen before in Berlin-Friedrichshain: artecom is setting up the 22 metre high ViennaSphere as a temporary intervention on the cultural hotspot RAW site – a unique, walk-in 360° projection dome that the Vienna Tourist Board is using to offer around 500 guests per evening a spectacular all-round experience over the course of three days to mark the triad of Vienna’s celebratory year 2015, 150 years of the Ringstrasse and the host city of the 60th Eurovision Song Contest.

Austria’s capital is presented in real images and thrilling 3D animations in a 15-minute 360° projection by the Viennese artists’ collective Neon Golden. The ViennaSphere will be opened in the presence of Ambassador Dr. Nikolaus Marschik and feature an exclusive concert by Conchita.
