On May 9, 2025, the European House Berlin celebrated Europe Day together with citizens. The day commemorates the Schuman Declaration of 1950, which laid the foundation for European integration, and highlights that Europe is not only a political project but also a shared experience.

As part of a diverse program, the “Experience Europe” exhibition invites visitors to explore Europe in a playful and interactive way. A colorful bubble show at the start set a festive atmosphere, while inside the exhibition visitors can expand their knowledge and test it through a Europe quiz, participatory activities, and interactive stations. Discussion rounds with EU experts provide opportunities to discuss current political issues and explore the future perspectives of the European Union. Additionally, voting boards make visible which topics are especially important to the guests.

Europe Day at “Experience Europe” aims to make Europe tangible in everyday life, combining the joy of celebration with knowledge and exchange, and actively involving citizens in the European dialogue. The focus is on solidarity as well as the diversity and democratic participation that define the European Union.
