Construction site open day

New living in the Dahlem of the East

Project profile

The former student halls of residence of the University of Applied Sciences in Berlin-Karlshorst have stood empty for more than 18 years. The almost 27,000 square metre site on Treskowallee has now been given a new lease of life: HOWOGE is building over 400 rental apartments and is putting into practice a utilisation concept that includes the integration of housing suitable for the elderly, two residential communities for senior citizens, a day-care centre for around 100 children as well as retail outlets in the neighbourhood. HOWOGE was awarded the 2016 German Building Developer Award for its pioneering property project.

Interested parties of all ages will have the opportunity to gain a detailed insight into the future Treskow-Höfe as early as September 2013: HOWOGE employees will be available to answer any questions on the construction site open day, while the cultural programme will feature jazz, samba and puppet shows. The construction site rally specifically developed by the artecom project team, giving families the opportunity to explore their potential future centre of life at their own leisure, proved very popular.
