The new hot rolling mill will help EKO Stahl to close the technological gap it has been experiencing for decades and become an integrated steel location. The commissioning marks the culmination of an investment programme worth millions. Years of wrangling between the management, the works council, the federal and state governments, the IG Metall labour union and the local population to preserve the traditional Brandenburg site had preceded this.

This milestone in corporate policy is to be honoured with a ceremony attended by Federal Chancellor Helmut Kohl, the entire workforce and the most important customers of EKO Stahl. artecom is drawing on all its expertise to ensure that the events are held in keeping with their great significance.
