The Botanic Garden also opens its doors at night once a year and invites visitors on a journey along botanical paths around the globe – through the illuminated splendour of plants on illuminated garden paths and in the greenhouses.

Up to 12,000 guests visit the Botanical Garden every year for Botanical Night and take a stroll through the wonderful world of plants, where they are treated to an opulent programme of music, literature, dance and cabaret.

The festive programme is also accompanied by a spectacular firework display: Music accompanies the sparkling fire flowers that rise into the Berlin night sky for twelve minutes.
