The 6th Strategy Conference on homelessness support took place from 28 November to 8 December 2022 through hybrid conferences and digital discussion rounds.

At the beginning of 2018, the Berlin Senate Department for Integration, Labour and Social Affairs launched a participatory strategy process for the further development of emergency housing support. As part of this process, the “Guidelines for Emergency Housing Support and Homelessness Policy” were developed and adopted by the Berlin Senate, and have been implemented since then. The strategy process continues through open working groups and annual strategy conferences, and is supported by an advisory board that includes not only the participating Senate departments and districts, but also the LIGA of the umbrella organisations of independent welfare services.
