Project profile
The German Trade Union Confederation Federal Congress was ceremoniously opened in Berlin on 08.05.2022.
Greetings given by Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and the Governing Mayor of Berlin Franziska Giffey were framed by a specially conceived multimedia performance that shed light on both the history of the trade union movement as well as present-day social challenges. The solo artists Leona Heine, Adrian Dehn, ILIR and the Porter Percussion Duo as well as students of the Ernst Busch University of Theatre Arts and singers of the Charité Choir Berlin put this impressively into words and music. Rainer Oleak was in charge of the musical direction on this day.
