Hütte feiert Vielfalt! (Hütte celebrates diversity!) – was the motto of the 22nd town festival celebrated in Eisenhüttenstadt from August 25th to 27th, 2023.
The Eisenhüttenstadt town festival once again lived up to its reputation as one of the premier events in East Brandenburg, drawing around 100,000 guests over the three days of the festival.
The traditional festival site between Lindenallee and Beeskower Straße once again took centre stage as a place to experience and celebrate. The classic triad of entertainment on offer for all age groups, information and culinary flavours was a hit across the board.
There were numerous highlights that made the hearts of visitors beat faster. The 22nd edition of the town festival once again showcased what a sense of home, diversity and cohesion mean to its citizens, from the main stage with its colourful spectrum of music and cultural events, to the varied regional programme in the HütteTreff, the Kinderland with its activities suitable for all ages, exciting attractions in the ArcelorMittal tent and the Goldener Löwe with dancing into the early hours of the morning.
The highlight concerts this year were performed by ClockClock on Friday, Patricia Kelly on Saturday and Forced To Mode on Sunday, which wowed many fans.
Regional highlights from cultural associations as well as independent groups were presented on the main stage at the Gala of the Region. The guests had the opportunity to marvel at musical, dance and artistic performances.
The younger guests attending the town festival were well catered for in the traditional Kinderland, where colleagues from the town’s Family and School Department, local daycare centres and after-school care centres, clubs and independent providers put on an exciting and variety-packed hands-on programme for the children.
