artecom at “Auster meets Perle”

Tilman, our Sustainability Representative, attended the monthly networking event “Auster meets Perle” organised by the Berlin Event Network e.V. (BEN) at the Austernbank Berlin on 13 October. The format brings together existing members (“Oysters”) and interested guests (“Pearls”) to encourage exchange and networking within Berlin’s event industry.

At the heart of the event was a dialogue on the goals and added value of the network: fostering strong collaboration for a diverse, sustainable, and vibrant event landscape in Berlin. Tilman took the opportunity to showcase artecom’s commitment to sustainable event management – while also making exciting new connections.

Strengthening Leadership Skills

Vicky and Sebastian from our artecom team recently took part in the seminar “Team Leadership: Encouraging Collaboration – Increasing Performance” offered by the Haufe Academy.
The seminar focused on how to effectively bring together diverse personalities within a team, reduce friction, and fully leverage synergy potential.

Particular attention was paid to the development of communicative, personal and social skills – the central building blocks for successful team leadership.
Using concrete, real-world examples, both were able to reflect on their leadership role and take away new inspiration for daily collaboration.

Internal Training Sessions on ISO 20121

To strengthen our commitment to sustainable event management as part of the ISO 20121 certification process and to further integrate it into our daily work, we hold regular internal training sessions.
During these sessions, our sustainability officer guides us through the chapters of the ISO 20121 standard. The training builds on previously shared internal documents and provides an opportunity to clarify questions, gain deeper insights, and create space for open dialogue and exchange.
